Logging
Editing, Deleting & Restoring Entries
Modify existing entries, understand soft-delete, and restore from trash.
Editing an entry
Open any entry from a log list view or the dashboard’s recent entries. Make your changes and click Save. If the entry has already been signed off, a new version is created as a resubmission and the original is preserved for audit purposes.
Deleting an entry
Click Delete on any entry you own. The entry is soft-deleted — it disappears from all lists and totals but is retained in the system for 30 days.
Restoring from trash
During the 30-day grace period you can restore a deleted entry and it will reappear in your logs exactly as it was. After 30 days the entry is permanently purged and cannot be recovered.
Resubmissions
When a supervisor requests changes on a signed-off entry, submit a revised version. The new entry links back to the original via the resubmission chain, keeping a full audit trail. Only the latest version counts toward your totals.
