Sharing Logs for Sign-off
Send entries to a supervisor for review, approval, or feedback.
Creating a share link
From any log entry or from the programme page, click Share. Enter your reviewer’s name and email address. Thothly generates a unique secure link and emails it to the reviewer.
One-time code verification
For extra security you can require the reviewer to verify their identity with a six-digit one-time code sent to their email. This can also be mandated at the organisation level. Codes expire after 10 minutes.
What the reviewer sees
The reviewer opens the link and sees the full details of the shared entry (or a summary of grouped practice hours). If they are signed into Thothly with a matching verified email, they are automatically identified.
Sign-off workflow
The reviewer can:
- Approve — the entry is marked as signed off with the reviewer’s name, email, and timestamp recorded.
- Decline — the entry is returned with an optional comment explaining what to change.
You will receive an email notification of the outcome.
Share link expiry
Share links expire after 7 days and are single-use. Once the reviewer has submitted their decision, the link cannot be reused.
Revoking access
You can revoke an unused share link at any time from the Sharing page.
